Construction Laborer

The Construction Laborer position is an hourly full time seasonal position with full benefits and reports to the Construction Foreman/ General Manager.  Full Description

 

Summary of Benefits

Fiscal Year 2013 (Ending 9/30/2013)

Vacation Leave:       1.5385 per pay period (40 hrs./5 days per year) hrs for 1styear 

                                 3.077 per pay period (80 hrs./10 days per year) for years 2 – 10 (Max 240 hrs)

                                 4.615 per pay period (120 hrs./15 days per year) after 10 years (Max 240 hrs)

Sick Leave:                3.692 hrs. per pay period (96hrs./12 days per year) Max. 90 days

Holidays Observed:   New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day (office closed)

Personal Leave:         Floating Holidays – 32 hrs./4 days per year (Implemented after one year of service on a pro-rated basis)

Overtime:                   Hourly at one and one half time.

  • 6% contribution by WEB Water
  • Employee salary deferral is available.

Health Insurance:      Blue Cross Blue Shield (Insurance Plus:  605-225-4270); Jannine Swingler, Agent 

  • WEB pays for 100% of employee’s health insurance premium and 50% of family’s premium.
  • Pharmacy card with $100 deductible x 2 per family waived for generics, $8/$35/$50/$85 on prescription drugs.  Self Administered Specialty Drug $85.
  • Deductible $1,500/$4,500 with Blue Cross Blue Shield, WEB self insured 50% of the deductible ($750).
  • Out of Pocket Max $2,250/$6,750 with WEB’s self insured and co-insurance at 70/30.
  • $25 co-pay on PCP Provider Office Exam.
  • Health insurance effective first of the month following date of hire.
  • Vision Insurance included with Health Insurance through VSP.  WEB pays for 100% of employee’s vision care and 50% of family’s premium.

FLEX:            A flexible benefit plan is offered and administered through Dakotacare Flex.

  • Employee has the option to buy this insurance with this agent.  Coverage begins first of the month following date of hire.

Long Term Disability:           SDARWS Long Term Disability

  • WEB pays for 100% of employee premium.
